Basics of ensuring the quality of the activities of Pro Edu-Cat OÜ

1. General provisions

1.1 Pro Edu-Cat OÜ (Reg. no. 16820662) (hereinafter the Trainer) is based in its activities on the Adult Training Act, the Regulation “Standard of Continuing Education” attached to the aforementioned law, the guidance material for ensuring the quality of adult continuing education for adult continuing education institutions, the company’s business ethics, articles of association and the foundations of educational organization.

1.2 The procedure for first aid basic and refresher training course complies with Regulation No. 50 of the Minister of Health and Labour of the Republic of Estonia 22.11.2018 „The procedure for the training and refresher training of the working environment representative, member of the working environment council and provider of first aid in a continuing education institution”. 

1.3 When conducting trainings and communicating with the learner/Customer, the Trainer is guided by the following principles: honesty, openness, willingness to help.

2. Basics and procedure for ensuring the quality of the learning environment

2.1 The trainings take place in premises suitable for conducting the trainings, which meet the health protection and safety requirements and where there are technical tools suitable for conducting the trainings.

2.2 The educational materials used in the training are either on paper or/and electronic.

2.3 The number of learners in the group is limited, based on the principle that a personal approach must be guaranteed to each trainee.

3. The procedure for ensuring the quality of curriculum

3.1 The preparation of curricula is based on the Adult Education Act, the standard of in-service training and the instructional material for the preparation of the in-service training curriculum.

3.2 Curricula include at least the following:

3.2.1 name of the curriculum;

3.2.2 curriculum group;

3.2.3 learning outcomes;

3.2.4 conditions for starting studies, if they are a prerequisite for achieving learning outcomes;

3.2.5 the total volume of study, including the proportion of auditory, practical and independent work;

3.2.6 study content;

3.2.7 description of the learning environment;

3.2.8 list of study materials, if study materials are provided for completion of the curriculum;

3.2.9 termination conditions and documents to be issued;

3.2.10 the trainer’s description of the qualification, study or work experience necessary to conduct the training.

4. Basics of quality assurance of trainers

4.1 First aid basic and refresher training course is carried out by a health worker registered in the national register of health workers, who has completed training as a first aid teacher and holds a relevant certificate.

4.2 In order to ensure the quality of education, trainers participate in further professional training, developing the ability to convey teaching methods and teaching content, and familiarize themselves with the application of up-to-date first aid techniques.

5. Document management

5.1 The Trainer collects the following data about the learners: name, e-mail and personal identification code. Personal data is processed on the basis of the Personal Data Protection Act.

5.2 The certificates and certificates of attendance issued by Pro Edu-Cat are numbered and the Trainer keeps records of them. Certificates and certificates of attendance are issued in paper form.

5.3 The certificate and certificate of attendance are signed by the trainer.

6. Feedback

6.1 Learners are asked to fill in the feedback form prepared by the Trainer after the training.

6.2 Feedback can be given both in written paper form and in electronic form.

6.3 Based on feedback, the Trainer can introduce changes to improve the quality of education if necessary.
